FRED Expands Dataset on Small Area Income and Poverty

FRED has just added 510 annual series from the Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates release from the U.S. Census: more state-level data relating to tax exemptions, mean adjusted gross income, and median adjusted gross income.

FRED Adds Quarterly Wage Data

FRED has just added 774 series on total quarterly wages for all U.S. metropolitan statistical areas. These series are published by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages program.

FRED Adds Export Data

FRED has added 20,790 annual series from the U.S. Bureau of the Census that cover the number of exporters by U.S state of origin and country they export to, as well as the value of those exports.

These 39 annual and monthly series from the National Association of Realtors represent existing single-family home sales, mean and median sales prices, housing inventory, and monthly supply of existing single-family homes at the national and Census region levels.

New on FRASER: Economic History from the BLS

FRASER has added Bulletins of the Bureau of Labor Statistics Nos. 300-499 from 1923-1929, including an explanation of how labor statistics are computed, an examination of Chinese migration in the U.S., and labor organizations in Chile.

FRED Expands G.17 Data with 1,857 Series

FRED has added 1,857 series to its Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization (G.17) dataset from the Board of Governors. The new monthly and quarterly series include industrial production and the related capacity indexes and capacity utilization rates.

FRED has added 5,466 series of earnings data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Current Population Survey. Categories include (among others) age, race, sex, occupation, full- or part-time status, and educational attainment.
