You can now find the data series you’re looking for faster with our new feature showing the popularity of each data series. Category, release, and search result pages are now sorted with the most popular series first. We have also added an auto-suggest feature to the FRED search box that will suggest popular series based on the words you type. Economic conditions nationwide continued to show improvement, on balance, since October, according to the latest issue of the Beige Book. Frequency aggregation is now available when downloading FRED data and using FRED Graph. For example, you can now convert monthly data to quarterly using one of three methods: average, sum, or end of period. Read the Frequency Aggregation FAQ’s for more information.
In FRED Graph, you can now apply a transformation (e.g., Percent Change) to the result of a formula. This option is available in the “Create Your Own Data Transformation” section. For instance, you can now sum data series and apply a transformation to the total.
