These 16 daily series are constructed by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and include various interest rate spreads such as the 5-year breakeven inflation rate, the TED spread and the 5-year, 5-year forward inflation expectation rate.

US Real M1 and M2 Monetary Aggregates Added to FRED

Real M1 and M2 money stocks are constructed by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis as nominal money stock measures adjusted for inflation using the consumer price index. M1 includes funds that are readily accessible for spending. M2 includes a broader set of financial assets held principally by households.

FRED rolls out enhanced graphing and upgraded apps!

FRED LogoFRED now includes a beta version with a suite of new interactive functions, including mouse-sensitive plot displays, click-and-drag graphing zooms, new sharing options for Twitter and Facebook, graph-embed buttons, an option to stack series by value or percentage, and one-step graph downloading in PNG, JPG, PDF, or SVG format. The new iOS apps include these new features, but also add push notifications, enhanced graph customization options, and a new design with an iPad-specific layout.
